DAY CAMPS

All Day Camps are run by one of our Riding Instructors. On day #1, campers will be assigned their own horse to take care of for the week. Along with daily riding instruction, our comprehensive program includes; safety around the barn, grooming & bathing, proper saddling & bridling, basic first aid, anatomy of the horse, horse breeds & colors, a horse-related craft, educational games & more. Campers will have the opportunity to try both English & Western styles of riding. Weather permitting the campers will also take a trail ride through the adjacent Cook County Forest Preserves.
